Pine Bluff Store Manager

The Retail Manager works with the leadership team and staff to execute store operational objectives as they relate to supporting the annual operating plan. He or she has direct responsibility for decision making in areas involving customers, team members, operational issues, business planning, priority setting, staff scheduling, team member performance appraisals, compliance with company policies, and assisting the District Manager with any and all areas of the business. Vice President of Mission Services

The Vice President of Mission Services is responsible for the overall operational and financial success of Career Services state-wide and the Organizational Development efforts to provide high-quality coaching, support, and training to all Goodwill Industries of Arkansas employees. This includes Opportunity Accelerator, which provides assistance with navigating digital skills, job placement, and career training services.

The VPMS is responsible for the organization’s state-wide reentry programming – including the Transitional Employment Opportunity Program (TEO). Duties include oversight of the federal Department of Justice grant, which includes increasing TEO enrollment to 900 over three years. Development of parameters, metrics and data collection to ensure goal expectations are met, and staff are trained in the process and management of TEOs.

The VP of Mission Services will also ensure collaboration across GIA departments to ensure a holistic, supportive approach is provided to all participants and employees. School Director

The Excel Center is a public charter school for adults who are 19 and older. It is accredited by the Arkansas Department of Education and operated by Goodwill Industries of Arkansas. The Excel Center provides an opportunity for adults who did not complete high school to earn their Arkansas high school diplomas instead of their GEDs. Instruction is delivered onsite and at an accelerated rate.

Under the direction of the Superintendent, the School Director serves as the chief administrator of a school in developing, implementing, monitoring, and continuously improving classroom learning systems to support the school improvement system. The school director aligns policies, programs, curriculum activities, and budgets to the school improvement plan to promote the educational development of each student and the professional development of each staff member. The school director serves as the lead learner in the school monitoring the instructional program and exhibiting the standards for Arkansas school administrators.
