Let the good times roll! This year’s Gala for Good will be held on October 11th at the Statehouse Convention Center in the Wally Allen Ballroom. We will celebrate the spirit of Goodwill but with a New Orleans twist. This special event will showcase the fantastic achievements of our program participants, graduates, and community partners.
We invite you to join us for the Gala for Good and make a lasting impact on our community. With your support, you will help to further Goodwill’s mission of providing individuals with the opportunity to lead independent, successful, and productive lives. Your participation will make a difference not only in the lives of those we serve but also in the lives of those in our community.
The evening will begin with a delightful dinner, including signature cocktails, beer, and wine. After the awards ceremony, The Bayou Royals will perform, flying in from The Big Easy for a bit of lagniappe. Additionally, there will be a silent auction, with all proceeds supporting Goodwill’s mission. Cocktail attire is suggested.

The Spirit of Goodwill Award is a prestigious accolade that recognizes an individual who has devoted their time, talent, and effort to advocate for and promote Goodwill’s mission of “Changing Lives through Education, Training, and Employment.”
This year, we are presenting the award in honor of the late Mitch Chandler.
