Cathy Tuggle is a long-time supporter and friend to Goodwill Industries of Arkansas and will serve as the inaugural Gala for Good Event chair. One reason she looks forward to chairing the Gala is to help others discover the important work that Goodwill does for Arkansas and its people.

 

“One of the best parts of Goodwill, without a doubt, is what they have to offer to so many people through their mission of changing lives through education, training and employment. Goodwill delivers a sense of hope and confidence to empower individuals which in turn betters their own communities,” she says. “The training and certifications they offer through their trade school, The Academy, have a direct and positive impact on the state’s workforce. I can personally vouch for their efforts which assisted my son in learning a new trade through their welding training program. In my opinion, Goodwill is bettering the citizens in our community by giving them opportunities they thought didn’t exist.”

 

Cathy is the Owner and Principal Broker of Tuggle Services, Inc., DBA Apartment Hunters, and Arkansas Suites. She has served on a variety of boards, including AR Kids Read, Make-A-Wish Council, and the University of Arkansas at Little Rock College of Business Advisory Board. She was named one of the 28 Women to Watch in Little Rock in 2015, and her company was the 2019 recipient of the Small Business Award through the Little Rock Regional Chamber. She has served on the Board of Directors at the Little Rock Regional Chamber

for the past 13 years as Membership Chair, Small Business Chair, and recently served as the

Chairman of the Board in 2018.
