Vincent Interview CORRECTED_edited.jpg

The mission statement is so true. Goodwill does change lives.

Vincent | Transitional Employment Opportunity Graduate | Goodwill Store Key Holder

Our programs are helping people like Vincent overcome barriers that make changing their lives difficult, enabling them to turn their lives around.  After a 20 year sentence, Vincent moved into a transitional housing facility. He says his life changed when a Reentry Specialist with Goodwill paid residents a visit. Vincent jumped at the opportunity to join Goodwill’s Transitional Employment Opportunity program, and after graduation, he began working for Goodwill. Today, 8 years later, he’s now a Goodwill store key holder.

Goodwill's mission of changing lives through education, training and employment is vital in helping Arkansans gain, or regain, financial independence. Through Goodwill's numerous services, Arkansans are able to finish their high school education, get job training and receive job placement services, building stronger families and communities. It's a hand up, not a hand out.

Funded nearly entirely by your donations of clothing and household items and monetary contributions, you too are changing lives through education, training and employment.

Because of you, good will happen!

Goodwill Industries of Arkansas is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization. Revenue generated through the sale of reusable donated goods at Goodwill retail stores is used to create jobs and fund these critical training programs for Arkansans.
