[Goodwill provided me with] a sign language interpreter. It made my job more enjoyable.

I have continued to grow and learn . . .

Our programs are helping people like Shawn overcome barriers that make finding a job difficult, enabling them to experience independence many had never known. Shawn found years ago that being deaf made looking for and maintaining employment difficult. Communication was a barrier that was often difficult to overcome.

Goodwill's mission of changing lives through education, training and employment is vital in helping Arkansans gain, or regain, financial independence. Through Goodwill's numerous services, Arkansans are able to finish their high school education, get job training and receive job placement services, building stronger families and communities. It's a hand up, not a hand out.

Last fiscal year, we provided services to more than 13,000 Arkansans and helped more than 6,800 find jobs with employers all over the state, and that is thanks to you. Funded nearly entirely by your donations of clothing and household items and monetary contributions, you too are changing lives through education, training and employment. We ask that you continue to support Goodwill and the people of Arkansas as we navigate through these times.

Because of you, good will happen!

Goodwill Industries of Arkansas is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization. Revenue generated through the sale of reusable donated goods at Goodwill retail stores is used to create jobs and fund these critical training programs for Arkansans.
