This course reviews the Industrial Maintenance trade history and describes apprenticeship and training programs to students. It also helps students learn about career opportunities in Industrial Maintenance fields. Students will be introduced to the tools of the trade, such as power and hand tools. They will also learn proper machinery safety protocols. Students will learn about gaskets, fasteners, anchors, valves, pumps and drivers, along with other basic commercial maintenance components.
