Workforce Alliance for Growth in the Economy

Goodwill Industries of Arkansas and the Pulaski County School District’s Adult Development program have partnered to work together to help people who need skills training, education, and employment assistance.

The goal of the Workforce Alliance for Growth in the Economy (WAGE) program is to provide training and certification in employability, industrial and clerical skills.  The training is free and open to the public.

The WAGE training program offers the following classes:

GED Instruction and Remedial Classes

  • Small Group and Individual Instruction
  • Computer Tutorial Programs

Keyboarding

  • Typing, Standard Keyboarding, Ten-Key, and Games

Job Preparation

  • Workplace Essential Skills
  • Resume Building
  • On-the-Job Training

Computer Literacy

  • Basic Usage and Computer terminology
  • Microsoft Office

Wage Certifications Include:

  • WAGE Clerical Certification Program
  • WAGE Industrial Certification Program
  • WAGE Employability Certification Program
