The Adult Development/Work Activity program of Goodwill Industries of Arkansas, Inc. provides services to adults who are developmentally disabled and who are in need of a structured daily program. Goodwill provides disabiliy services to those adults who have a productivity level of below 50% of the industrial norm. The adults spend a portion of each day in work-related activities. The remainder of the time is devoted to enhancing independent living skills and increasing self-sufficiency levels.
The adults in this program reside in the community and have achieved a certain degree of independence. They must be approved for Goodwill disability services by Developmental Disabilities Services, and must meet the general admission criteria set by Goodwill.
