The Ticket to Work Program is a nationwide initiative of the Social Security Administration designed to give disability beneficiaries, who receive SSI or SSDI, the opportunity to achieve steady, long-term employment by providing them greater choice and opportunities to go to work.

Eligible beneficiaries may use “tickets” to obtain services from Goodwill, one of the areas local Employment Network (EN). The program is voluntary and designed for beneficiaries who want to work without risk of loss of their benefits.

Goodwill’s trained staff will work with each individual to design a plan outlining the services needed to enable the beneficiary to reach his or her employment goal.
