Programs

At Goodwill, we encourage youth think beyond the here and now. Our exciting new Youth Program focuses on career exploration – helping young people discover the possibilities and opportunities after high school graduation.

Participants tour businesses and colleges, learn about workplace skills training programs and  experience college preparation. The program provides tutoring, positive social development, job readiness and health and fitness activities.

The Youth Program is open to participants ages 12-17 that live in zip codes 72204, 72206 and 72209 in Little Rock. It is held at 7400 Scott Hamilton Drive in Little Rock from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. after school. Free transportation to the program is provided. When school is out, including summer, program hours are 7:30 a.m. until 5:30 p.m.

The Youth Program strives to help young people make good choices, enjoy their youth and become more excited about the future each day. To enroll in the program, complete an application. Contact Program Manager Valerie Nix at 372-5100, ext. 1177 or email vnix@goodwillar.org.
