LITTLE ROCK, AR — The winners of Goodwill’s Halloween Costume Contest were announced on social media last week. Congratulations to Melanie Madkin and Trissa Fletcher for being our Facebook and Instagram winners, respectively!
Melanie found her children’s ready-made Minnie Mouse and Ant-Man costume at a great discount at Goodwill. Trissa created Larry Culpepper, Dr. Pepper Concessionaire costume, by purchasing two polo shirts in red and white, red visor, headphones and wire CD holder. She sewed the two polo shirts together, and she turned the CD holder onto its side, painted it with silver paint to make it a carrying basket.
The winners each received a $50 gift card to be used at Goodwill stores in Arkansas.
Thank you to everyone who participated in this event. We hope that you continue to support our organization throughout the year.
