Arkansas Lawyers Spread Goodwill

Little Rock, AR – For some job seekers, finding appropriate and affordable business attire suitable for an interview or the workplace can be a challenge. To alleviate this problem, the Arkansas Bar Association and Goodwill Industries of Arkansas are partnering this giving season to help Arkansans dress for success.
Starting November 1, 2016 until January 31, 2017, attorneys can donate their professional attire to Goodwill. Their donations will become part of Goodwill’s Career Closet, which helps local residents get back to work.
“One of the hurdles to employment that individuals face is the lack of professional attire to wear to a job interview. Making a great first impression is incredibly important, and these donations will help build confidence and empower job seekers,” said Brian Itzkowitz, President & CEO of Goodwill Industries of Arkansas.

Donors can donate gently used suits, dresses, shirts, slacks, jackets, ties, belts, shoes and other accessories. With the season changing, it’s the perfect time to clean out those closets and drop off a donation. Donations can be dropped off at any Goodwill donation center or at the Arkansas Bar Association at 2224 Cottondale Lane in Little Rock.
