Donation Guidelines

Goodwill appreciates the community for thinking of us when it comes to donations. We have a list of items that we can and cannot accept. The list is used only as a guideline. There may be certain items we can accept that are not listed, or there may be other items which we must turn down due to the size, condition or suitability. Please refer any questions about Goodwill’s donation policy to the store manager.
ITEMS WE CAN ACCEPT INCLUDE (this is not an all-inclusive list):
• Clothing — men's, women's, boys', girls', and infants'
• Footwear — shoes and boots
• Outerwear — hats, gloves, mittens and scarves
• Accessories and Jewelry
• Housewares — dishes, kitchen utensils and cookware, lamps and small appliances
• Books, records, compact disks, and DVDs
• Games, sporting goods, bicycles and toys
• Furniture and office furniture
• Antiques and collectibles
• Medical aids – walkers, shower seats, wheelchairs, etc
• Electronics – computers, radios, VCRs, DVD players
• Art, frames, decorative Knickknacks, mirrors
• Domestics — curtains, linen, bedspreads, blankets, etc.
• Vehicles – Don’t waste your time and money trying to sell your unwanted vehicle – just donate it to Goodwill. It’s free, easy and tax deductible. Click here for more information.

ITEMS WE CANNOT ACCEPT:
• Mattresses
• Vehicle parts
• Hazardous waste – lead acid batteries, additives, gasoline, oil antifreeze, etc.
• Building Materials
• Liquids including paint, household cleaning and aerosols
• Food and beverage
• Propane tanks
• Firearms, ammunition and fireworks
• Large Appliances
• Gas powered equipment
• Fuel tanks (gas/propane/etc)
