The purpose of the Assessment program is to identify areas of vocation strengths and to develop a comprehensive picture of the individual and his or her needs. This is done through the joint efforts of the Employment, Education and Training staff.
Appropriate tests and other assessment methods are used, based on the individual’s needs and the recommendations of the referring counselor.
At the end of the assessment period, a recommendation is made concerning the next step in the rehabilitation process.
